Care tips
- Needs 2+ hours of exercise daily and a job for the brain: training, scent work or a sport.
- Brush 2–3 times a week, daily during the spring and autumn shed. Never shave a double coat.
- Large-breed puppy food, and no forced running or long stairs until it's fully grown (around 18 months).
- Teach a calm 'quiet' cue early, this one likes to talk.
- Ask the breeder for: hip x-rays, eye examination.
- Food safety, from Bumba: keep the batch number of every bag. If your dog suddenly can't stand or walk, go to the vet the same hour.
