Named after its cotton-soft coat and the port of Tuléar in Madagascar.

Care tips

Plan 1–2 hours of walks and play every day.
Brush several times a week down to the skin so mats never start; check behind the ears.
Small mouths need dental care: brush teeth a few times a week.
Ask the breeder for: kneecap (patella) check, eye examination.
Food safety, from Bumba: keep the batch number of every bag. If your dog suddenly can't stand or walk, go to the vet the same hour.
