Dachshund

'Badger dog' in German: the long body was made for burrows.

Care tips

Plan 1–2 hours of walks and play every day.
Brush once a week; bathe only when it really needs it.
Small mouths need dental care: brush teeth a few times a week.
Teach a calm 'quiet' cue early, this one likes to talk.
Ask the breeder for: back/spine check, eye examination.
Food safety, from Bumba: keep the batch number of every bag. If your dog suddenly can't stand or walk, go to the vet the same hour.

General guidance, not veterinary advice. Your vet knows your dog best.
