Care tips
- Needs 2+ hours of exercise daily and a job for the brain: training, scent work or a sport.
- Brush 2–3 times a week, daily during the spring and autumn shed. Never shave a double coat.
- Large-breed puppy food, and no forced running or long stairs until it's fully grown (around 18 months).
- A fast learner that gets bored fast: puzzle toys and short training sessions every day.
- Ask the breeder for: hip x-rays, elbow x-rays.
- Food safety, from Bumba: keep the batch number of every bag. If your dog suddenly can't stand or walk, go to the vet the same hour.
General guidance, not veterinary advice. Your vet knows your dog best.
