Care tips

Needs 2+ hours of exercise daily and a job for the brain: training, scent work or a sport.
Professional trim every 6–8 weeks and brushing a few times a week; the coat barely sheds.
Large-breed puppy food, and no forced running or long stairs until it's fully grown (around 18 months).
A fast learner that gets bored fast: puzzle toys and short training sessions every day.
Ask the breeder for: hip x-rays, eye examination.
